Winter is Here!

It's been a while since I've posted something. Life has been busy like it always is. Doing school with the children and sending my husband Craig off to Nevada for a couple of months.
We had a huge ice storm last night that cause tree limbs to come crashing down around our home. But not on our home thankfully. The children and I couldn't wait to get outside today to explore and see what the ice had done to the outside world. We found everything was frozen in time and still very beautifully intact for the most part. The leaves that were on some trees were just as green as ever. Just a beautiful site. We didn't go anywhere other than our own yard because of the danger of ice on the roads and because it was just too cold! We all came in after we had our fill of the bitter cold and had hot soup with corn bread and goats milk for dinner. MMM... it hit the spot.
